Michael was born and raised in Huntington, NY in a town rich in American history including the American Revolution and such men as Walt Whitman and Herman Melville. He spent most of his childhood and young adulthood wandering around in the local forests of West Hills Park embracing the nature around as he still does today wherever he goes.
Michael attended and graduated from New York College of Health Professions with his associates degree in Occupational Studies and Massage Therapy where he learned an incredible amount of information on the human body. Given a complete understanding of the human anatomy and physiology (more than what is taught to registered nurses) multiple massage modalities and traditional Chinese medicine.
Throughout his career, Michael has found that he excels in myofascial work and understanding of the myofascial bodily system. This brings real, lasting results through massage. With MFR treatments he is capable of finding the dehydrated/ dysfunctional chains and patches of tissue in people’s bodies and working into them to rehydrate and makes the tissues more malleable for the postural change to come. He sends everyone home with some form of postural advice/exercise, and at the next visit they can make real progress with every session rather than the traditional pattern of massage therapy where he give the same massage to the same person with the same aches and pains in the same places every time.

Dr. Andrew Johnston
Dr. Andrew Johnston was born and raised in the South, spending most of his childhood in the small town of Saint Cloud, Florida where the accents are thick, and the humidity is thicker. It was there Dr. Johnston found his passion for sports at a young age, when he was first introduced to baseball. His love for baseball continued through high school, where he also found a talent for soccer and golf. He was recruited to play college ball but decided instead to expand his knowledge of the world by serving a two-year mission in Santiago, Chile where he became fluent in the Spanish language. After returning from his mission, Dr. Johnston graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah with a degree in Exercise Science. He also met and fell in love with his now wife at BYU, who he wooed with his vast world knowledge (guess that mission in Chile was the right choice after all!). He then went on to receive his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in San Jose, CA. After graduation, Dr. Johnston and his wife moved to Colorado and began to expand their family. Dr. Johnston now resides in Erie, CO with his wife, two-year-old son, and their goldendoodle puppy, Bowie.
Dr. Johnston attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah where he graduated with his degree in Exercise Science. Throughout his undergrad education, Dr. Johnston worked at a local chiropractic clinic where he learned the true importance of chiropractic care and the role of conservative therapy in the healing of musculoskeletal injuries. After undergrad, Dr. Johnston attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in San Jose, California (Palmer West). At Palmer West, he was an active member of the ACA Sports Council where he worked at multiple sporting events helping athletes prep for and recover from their competitions. He also worked as a nutrition and anatomy tutor during his time at Palmer West. After graduating from Palmer West, Dr. Johnston has continued his education, focusing particularly on the healing and prevention of musculoskeletal injuries. He has also gone on to become certified in dry needling (levels I and II), as well as in IASTM techniques and RockTape.
Dr. Johnston’s introduction to chiropractic care came after a serious baseball injury in high school. Fearful that this injury would remove him from the game indefinitely, he turned to chiropractic care. After being adjusted and having Graston technique performed on his elbow, he was shocked but thrilled to be back on the field within the week. This event largely influenced Dr. Johnston’s purpose as a chiropractor. He is extremely motivated to help people achieve their dreams, whether those dreams are carrying their grandchildren, hiking the trail of their dreams, or succeeding in the professional sport arena. To do this, Dr. Johnston focuses on finding and treating the root cause of a patient’s problems, rather than just treating symptoms. Dr. Johnston is determined to help his patients become their best self and enjoy the life they were meant to live. Due to the personalized care he received as a teenager, he himself values his time with his patients and bases his treatment and care around their individualized goals.
During his undergraduate studies Dr. Johnston found a passion for Crossfit. If you don’t see him in the gym going for his next PR, you can find him cycling, shooting, chasing his first hole in one on the golf course, fishing or exploring the outdoors with his beautiful wife, son and goldendoodle.

Carolyn was born in Bogota, Colombia, raised in South Florida and has spent her life since graduating from the University of Miami in Los Angeles. She speaks 5 languages (English, Spanish, Italian, French and a bit of German). She has worked in the film industry in a variety of “roles”. In 2003 she was a founding member of Beyond Yoga. With all the skills she learned from the early days at Beyond Yoga, she fell into lifestyle public relations. Doing PR and events, her work took her all around the globe which gave her the idea for the Healthy Voyager, a travel show that helped people with special dietary issue traverse the globe, stress free. Carolyn has won numerous awards and has become a go-to healthy, special diet and green living and travel expert, best-selling cookbook author, media spokesperson, holistic nutritionist, plant based vegan chef and television personality. In 2022, she also added non-fiction author to her credits, launching the Christmas novel When Cris Met Kringle, based on her own original screenplay.
Carolyn began her college experience preparing for med school. However, life had other plans for her. She ended up double majoring in Motion Pictures and Theatre at the University of Miami, graduating with a BS in Communications and a BFA in fine arts. Months after graduating, she packed up her car and moved across the country to Los Angeles, California. Shortly after arriving, she adopted a plant based lifestyle and the health sciences bug bit her again, prompting her to go back to school and receive her masters degree in holistic nutrition and her PhD in Naturopathic medicine from Clayton College of Natural Health. Since plant based food was not quite a trend yet, Carolyn wanted to expand her cooking skills to make healthy yet tasty home cooked meals so she enrolled at the Natural Gourmet Institute as they offered the only plant-based culinary arts program at the time.
As a child, we ate healthy and home cooked meals. My mother never allowed processed foods, sodas or junk foods. Once I was on my own at college, I allowed myself too much leeway and gained quite a bit of weight. I knew that I had to lose it and found a weight loss program that changed my life. I was given a food sensitivity test, learned how to rotate my foods and how to properly portion. I lost all of the weight between freshman and sophomore year. From then on, I was incredibly fastidious about my food, health and fitness. So when the opportunity arose for me to train as a nutritionist, I grabbed it. I love helping all sorts of people discover the path to wellness as it is very different for each person. I believe food is not only something that sustains us but should also bring us joy as it nourishes.

Dr. Andrea Toppin
Dr. Andrea Toppin was born and raised in Clear Lake, IA. She has one younger brother, Joel who is also a chiropractor as well. Growing up in a small town and going to a small school, she was multi-sport athlete; however running has always been Andrea’s strength and love. In high school, she was an all-state runner in cross country and track as well as a state champion in the 3000 and 1500 meter run. Andrea then went on to run Division I cross country and track at Iowa State University where she contributed to many Big 12 Cross Country team titles and NCAA championship berths. During her second year of chiropractic school, she qualified for the 2020 US Marathon Olympic Trials, that of which she competed in February 2020 in Atlanta Georgia. Currently, she continues to train and compete as an elite marathoner for a company called Oiselle. Running remains a lifelong passion for her to this day. She uses her own experience to help those competing, as well as those looking to improve their casual running practice.
After high school, Dr. Andrea attended Iowa State University as a student athlete in cross country and track while graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. After undergrad, Andrea moved to Minneapolis, MN and attended chiropractic school at Northwestern Health Sciences University. She graduated with a Sports Medicine Emphasis in December 2020. Throughout chiropractic school, she was very active in the ACA Sports Council as well as in the ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association). Dr. Andrea currently specializes in sports medicine, women’s health, prenatal, postpartum, and pediatrics.
Much of Dr. Andrea’s inspiration to become a chiropractor came from her own personal experience as a Division 1 collegiate distance runner at Iowa State. Like a lot of female collegiate athletes, she dealt with disordered eating, internal health issues, and had numerous injuries – one being almost career ending. The chiropractor and physical therapist she saw for her injuries both brought her back to who she is today. The best part was they not only helped to heal her physically, but they healed her emotionally and mentally. They are the very reason she decided to become a Doctor of Chiropractic - to help patients grow to become their ultimate selves.
This won’t come as a surprise, but you can find Dr. Andrea on the roads during her free time. She loves exploring running routes around Boulder, and occasionally takes to trail running in the Colorado mountains for some challenging incline training. She mainly trains for US Championship road races, marathons, and will occasionally hop on the track. She also loves spending time with her friends and family as well as hiking in the mountains, skiing, and camping.
